Reductil weight loss pill review

October 2010: Abbot Laboratories announced that they are recalling Reductil and other products that contain Sibutramine from the US weight loss market due to the safety reasons. Consumers are advised to stop using Reductil or any other Sibutramine product immediately!

What is Reductil?

Reductil is prescription only weight loss pill and only a qualified doctor can decide if you qualify for Reductil or not. Main ingredient inside Reductil is the chemical substance called Sibutramine.

What is Sibutramine?

Sibutramine is a chemical substance that is structurally similar to amphetamines, although it has different mechanism of action. It is a substance banned by FDA and it was put under Schedule IV list of controlled substances in USA.

Reductil side effects

About 10% of people who use Reductil will experience constipation, dry mouth and insomnia. Other common side effects that are possible with Reductil are: fast heart rate, anxiety, headaches, lightheadedness, nausea, numbness, tingling in any part of your body, abnormal sweating, hemorrhoids, allergic reactions, diarrhea, hair loss, blurred vision, nervousness, memory problems, throwing up, and seizures.

As you can see Reductil is not a drug to be taken lightly. Another important thing is that Reductil should be taken only for 12 weeks and no more. If you don't achieve significant weight loss with Reductil, your GP might give you prescription for another weight loss pill.

Is Reductil recommended?

Absolutely not! There's a good reason why all Sibutramine-based drugs were banned and that is safety. This weight loss drug is not safe, let alone effective in the long run. Even if you qualify for prescription weight loss pills, go and look for something else; your body will thank you for that.

What are the alternatives?

Instead of having to face nasty side effects that prescription diet pills can give you, why not go for something totally natural and free of side effects? Hoodia Gordonii is a well known plant from South Africa that has outstanding appetite suppressing properties.

Weight loss pills that contain Hoodia Gordonii are very popular among the weight loss crowd. That's why we recommend you to take a look at Unique Hoodia – our #1 recommended Hoodia product.
