Hoodia X57 is one of the many Hoodia products flooding the market today. Hoodia X57 makes the same claim as all the other products on the market, it says it will assist you to lose weight by suppressing your appetite. So does this product really work?

According to television shows such as CBS News, 60 Minutes, ABC News and the BBC then it would seem like Hoodia X57 is a product that works.

While Hoodia X57 has in fact been featured on these programs many times, you will also find through research that these programs don't make any kind of endorsement for the product aside from the initial story covering the product. This is because the manufacturers are using them as a marketing tactic and not getting actual endorsements.

The Evidence

It is also unknown if the manufacturers of Hoodia X57 really have proper certification. While they claim that the product contains natural authentic Hoodia Gordonii, they don't post any actual certificates on their website to verify their claim that they have received certification.

The Verdict

The price of Hoodia X57 is also questionable. Hoodia X57 is only about half the price of authentic Hoodia Gordonii products that have actual certification. The pure plant is very difficult to export from the Kalahari Desert and this is the only location where the cactus-like plant grows.

Because of this, authentic products are often very expensive compared to other weight loss supplements on the market. Therefore, it's difficult to believe a manufacturer would offer a genuine Hoodia Gordonii product for such a low price.
