Accelis Review
What It Is
The manufacturer of Accelis claims it helps you lose weight by
turning glucose into muscle, rather than having glucose stored in your cells. This allows you to lose weight
without having to use stimulants. The manufacturer also states that Accelis is only made from
all-natural and safe ingredients.
However, do the ingredients in Accelis really help you to lose more than 10 pounds within 20
days? Do all-natural ingredients mean you don't have to worry about side effects as the manufacturer
claims?
The Evidence
Accelis primarily contains Lagerstroemia speciosa, which has about 3% corosolic acid. This is the ingredient
that is supposed to turn glucose into muscle rather than fat. While research has shown that
corosolic acid is an effective weight loss aid, such a small percentage isn't likely to offer major results. The
other ingredients in Accelis include the following:
- Chamomile extract, to help digestion
- Green tea extract without caffeine, which can help the body in many ways and has been proven effective when
losing weight. However, it loses its weight loss properties once it is decaffeinated.
- Oolong tea extract without caffeine, which also loses its weight loss properties once it is
decaffeinated.
- Passionflower extract
- Soy Phospholipids
- White tea extract without caffeine, which has no benefit weight loss properties.
In small doses, then natural ingredients are not an effective way to lose weight. In addition,
to not having effective weight loss ingredients it can also cause unpleasant side effects including the
following:
- Bloating
- Dizziness
- Drowsiness
- Heartburn
- Indigestion
- Nausea
- Vomiting
Another cautious warning about Accelis is that there have been no clinical studies to show that
this pill is really effective. The manufacturer's website also doesn't have any testimonials, even though they
aren't reassuring, but a lack of them seems odd.
The official website makes reference to studies that have been done on the key ingredient, corosolic acid.
However, no important details about the study are provided such as the date, researcher's name and
study location.
The manufacturer does provide one testimonial to support their claims that Accelis offers substantial weight
loss results. The testimonial comes from a resident doctor that claims Accelis provides weight loss benefits.
Although it was later discovered that the doctor was paid to make this statement.
The Verdict
Since you only have to take 2 pills in the evening, Accelis is an easy diet program. However, it is
important that you never take any drug without understanding the full effects it has or without any evidence of a
clinical trial. This means the results of the pill can't be guaranteed. With no conclusive research that any of the
ingredients in Accelis is high enough to matter, it is clear that Accelis is not an effective weight loss
option.
